In the Green: UNT World Well-Being

UNT System Faculty & Staff:

Supporting the well-being of our team members is always important, and has certainly rose to the forefront during the coronavirus pandemic that’s impacting our universities, our nation and the world. It’s a stressful time for all of us, and it’s more important than ever to stop, take a deep breath and focus on our own well-being. With that in mind, the University of North Texas System Human Resources team is excited to introduce In the Green: UNT World Well-Being to faculty and staff across UNT World.

This exciting new program is a system-wide well-being initiative that was created to help faculty and staff from UNT, UNT Health Science Center, UNT Dallas and UNT System Administration live their best lives. Whether navigating day-to-day challenges in “normal” times, or working through the unique circumstances the COVID-19 pandemic has produced, we believe the health and wellness of our employees is critical to their success – both personally and professionally.

In the Green provides resources and learning opportunities to team members across the UNT System in three categories:

During this unique time we will ramp up our efforts to provide virtual workshops to support employees – particularly in interpersonal well-being – through In the Green. Additionally, the program offers health-related benefits, learning opportunities and even discount and rewards programs – all targeted at helping UNT World team members reach their true potential in every facet of life.

There is no registration required to participate in this new initiative. That being said, we want to hear from you and have a special gift for team members that visit In the Green’s dedicated web site at Simply visit the site and click on SHARE WITH US – then let us know how you’re doing during the COVID-19 pandemic. Please also share your well-being goals, program ideas, wellness photos or questions. In return, we’ll send you a FREE, environmentally-friendly In the Green water bottle (Giveaway limited to the first 500 submissions – delivery may be delayed due to current circumstances).

Our dedicated web site features an interactive event calendar, news announcements, informative videos and additional related content – all designed to encourage overall well-being for UNT System faculty and staff. With focus on our well-being, we’ll get through the COVID-19 pandemic together and In the Green will remain as a resource for UNT System faculty and staff moving forward.

Thank you for your dedication – we look forward to hearing from you as we build In the Green to help team members live their best lives.

Be well!
